Who all can participate in the Virtual Course on Creative Confidence (VC3)?
Students from 8th Grade to 12th Grade can participate
Is there any preparation required before applying for this course?
The only requirement is the willingness to learn with an open mind.
Is this course conducted virtually?
Yes. This course is conducted live in a virtual classroom.
What are the requirements for this online course?
Students must have a stable internet connection, a computer, a speaking/listening aid such as headphones or earphones, a valid Gmail account and the Zoom application. Certain projects require the user of a scanning tool/application available on various smartphones or similar electronic devices.
How are the assignments and projects conducted?
Most of the assignments are conducted and submitted through Google classroom. Projects that require prototypes are completed using simple materials available at home. The instructions on how these are conducted vary based on the feasibility of the assignment/project.
I am a topper in my class. Am I creative?
Knowledge, while important by itself, is not equal to creativity. Creativity unfolds when your experience and your unique perspective, through imagination, is added to knowledge.
Will I become creative by doing this course?
You will firstly become aware of your creativity. When you practice what is recommended during the course, you will be on the path to becoming creative. Creativity is like your muscles; the more you use it, the more it gets built.
I am not good at drawing. Should I take this course?
Drawing is only used for the communication of your idea. This course does not require drawing as a mandatory skill.
What will my child gain from this course?
This course will help your child recognize, develop and act on his/her own creativity. They will learn to develop the creative mindset and its application to real world problems.
Why do I need to take this course?
Becoming creative is the need of the hour. Being able to solve problems is one thing, but actually digging deeper, identifying the real issue at hand and proposing multiple solutions makes you a smart worker. Everyone has qualifications and knowledge in every industry, but to stand out among your peers and work your way to the top, the need for creativity is key. In this day and age, a machine can be programmed to do tasks of human beings on a regular basis. Only creativity will give you the upper hand in such professions, allowing you to think outside the box and change the mentality of industries for a better future.

Creativity is required in all fields and professions. This course is targeted to help students build creative confidence in themselves irrespective of the careers they choose.
